Ponte Vecchio is known not only as the oldest bridge in Florence. It is famous throughout the world as a bridge jewelers, “Golden Bridge” – locals call it. In the late 16th century at the behest of Ferdinand I of the Ponte Vecchio jewelry workshops we moved to the city, which then received the exclusive right to sell their products here. Today, among the many jewelery shops Ponte Vecchio can be found only one shop. Its history goes back more than a hundred years. Owned by the family of an old workshop Piccini.

Fratelli Piccini – brand, is working on the fourth generation of this wonderful Florentine family. Jewelry Atelier brothers Piccini was opened in 1903. Today, as a hundred years ago, Fratelli Piccini workshop can be found on the Ponte Vecchio under the same number 21/23.

History Fratelli Piccini – a story of family, the city and the whole country, told by language of fine jewelry. Over one hundred and twelve years of success and recognition jewelers Piccini alternated with the tragic events of the 20th century. Prize of the Venice Biennale in 1936 and the Second World War; Grand Prize International Diamond Award in New York in 1952 and the devastating flood in Florence in 1966 … Today Fratelli Piccini – one of the symbols of the city on the River Arno. Jewelry House Piccini exhibited in the Palazzo Pitti and Palazzo Vecchio.
