Paris Haute Couture Week. Yanina Couture

With Yulia Yanina

Yanina Couture is one of Russia’s oldest couture houses, and its birth and subsequent success is primarily connected to the creative genius of its founder Yulia Yanina. For more than twenty years, Yulia and her family have managed the fashion house, watching it grow from a small studio into a world-renowned brand.

The presentation of Yanina Haute Couture’s new collection of evening dresses took place amidst the luxurious baroque interiors off the Salon France-Amérique, located in the heart of Paris’s ‘golden triangle.’ The 2015 Spring/Summer collection was delicate and airy, with floral prints as its leitmotif. Exquisite transparent silk was expertly decorated with multi-colored irises, tulips, and intriguing red peonies. As always, the charming hostess Yulia Yanina put her soul into her collection, and this love was very apparent in each of her delicate creations. The designer played on the classically sensual effect of sheer, barely-there fabrics, creating an array of boldly transparent dresses. The collection contains not only eveningwear, but also elegant cocktail dresses, richly decorated with embroidery and appliqués.

What could better compliment the beauty of Yulia Yanina’s creations, if not the elegant sparkle of diamonds? Indeed, the luxury dresses where paired with the refined and luxurious pieces of celebrated jeweler Chopard.

With Maria Elena Aprea (Chantecler)

After the show, Yanina Couture along with Chopard invited select guests to a charming private dinner. It’s spring theme was presented in the form of a trunk show, where longtime admirers of the Yanina Couture brand could get an up close look at the house’s graceful creations. The enchanting evening only further highlighted the high level of taste and elegance that the famed fashion house continues to embrace, truly haute couture at its finest.
