The Hotel Montaigne

Once again I find myself in the City of Lights for Paris Fashion Week, and of course the French capital is buzzing with energy as it prepares to dazzle with flashy fashion shows and captivating parties. I too am full of excitement as I prepare for a hectic week, with so much going on, it is difficult to fit everything into my schedule.

I am staying in the Golden Triangle, in the heart of Paris, where culture and Haute Couture reign supreme. Here, celebrities and stars come to shop the most luxurious boutiques of the city, to take in a show at one of the many famed theaters in the area, and to visit the beautiful national monuments that are just a short walk away.

This particular week, I was very pleased to find a haven of calmness and serenity in the midst of the chaos of Paris Fashion Week. Right across the street from the grandiose and celebrity-packed Plaza Hotel, I discovered a much more enchanting, discreet, and comfortable location: the Hotel Montaigne.

The Hotel Montaigne boasts a warm and inviting environment away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, its accommodating and private atmosphere made me feel right at home, free to plan my week of events in the luxury of a chic family hotel. In fact, I was amused to learn that, often, celebrities who want a retreat from the bustling Plaza Hotel will check in here, in order to truly be able to relax in private at the end of a long, busy day.

During my stay I also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel’s General Director, Florence Bournoville. A superb hostess, I was immediately taken by her charming and endearing manner. Through her personal tour I saw that this location offered so much more than simply a private and elegant atmosphere, Florence’s warm and inviting demeanor is also reflected in the staff of the hotel, who are friendly and quick to accommodate any request one might have.

A small gem in the midst of Paris’s most renowned district, I would eagerly suggest this place to anyone looking for refuge and privacy without forgoing the elegance and luxury that Paris’s Golden Triangle is so known for.
